Lee Michelle "Without You"
Geez Louise!! I can't begin to explain how meaningful this song/video is.
I honestly started tearing up before I even clicked play.
I've been waiting and waiting for Lee Michelle's debut since her season of Kpop Star ended. I was reeally looking forward to seeing Supearls debut so when they disbanded, I was really heartbroken.
But now she's here! and her voice is as captivating ever and everything was so beautiful and I just cannot even.
the video features a super adorable little girl playing lil Lee Michelle and we get a glimpse into what she had to deal with being a blasian person in South Korea.
Seriously, not enough people really know about it and at the same time too many people know.
I really makes me sad that she had to go through all that but basically the message of the song (well, the song has 2 messages) is that she doesn't not need anybody's acceptance to feel like she worthy or important and they may say things to hurt her but that doesn't change the fact that she is an awesome person
and the second message is about going through a break up and realizing that you're fine and happy without that person.
This was such a powerful song and I'm so glad she's getting the opportunity to share her experiences and not just sing a generic, catchy song (although, if she decides to sing said generic and catchy songs, I'll support that too).

10 Reasons Why I Love Lupita Nyong'o and Will Continue To Love Her For All Eternity
The first time I saw her was during the TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival). I knew about a new Steve McQueen movie with Michael Fassbender and Benedict Cumberbatch and Brad Pitt but I didn't even see her in the trailer (or if I did, I forgot). So when I saw this picture
My first thought was "Who is this girl next to Brad Pitt?" And then I did some research and found out her name was Lupita Nyong'o. And when I saw this picture
And I'm pretty sure that's when I fell in love.
After TIFF, I waited and waited for the movie's official release and while I waited, I tried to find out more about her (there wasn't really much). Her Wikipedia page wasn't very detailed (it didn't even have her age) and all I found was that she was born in Mexico and she was on a Kenyan TV Show called Shuga.
Anyway after the movie got released, I didn't really expect her to become super popular so when I saw her InStyle Magazine Editorial I was like "YAAAAY! Lupita's in a Magazine!" little did I know, she would go on to be on the cover of like 24566777884555665 magazines lol.
Anyway, since then i've grown more obsessed with her and I'm going to patiently wait (or at least try to) while she picks her next project.
Okay, lets get on with the list.
1) she wears every color of the rainbow perfectly
2) her face and skin was crafted specifically by God
3) she's brilliant! everything she says is quotable. talk about master of the English language
4) but she's also really youthful, fun and funny.
5) she has enchanted literally everyone (except the hateful trolls but lets not discuss them)
I'm pretty sure Oprah volunteered to be the god mother of her first child.
Jennifer Lawrence impersonating everyone's first reaction to seeing Lupita
I say the same thing every time I see a picture of Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong'o - CHEMISTRY!!!
6) she's not afraid to talk about her past insecurities and her journey to self love
7) she is so gracious and appreciative!
8) she's edgy and different and cool and not your average chick in the slightest bit.
9) Her portrayal of Patsey was heartbreaking and beautiful. that's a character that will stay with you forever
.
10) she understands what her presence means. She knows it means a lot.
