History of a Salaryman Review

I'm just going to start by saying, THIS DRAMA IS ABSOLUTELY CRAZY!! But In the best way possible. By the looks of the official poster you would think its some really serious drama but don't be fooled! It's a good 100 miles away from that.

1) I can definitely say this drama did not turn out how I expected it to be and that's definitely not a bad thing. but when I started watching it I thought i had it all figured.
So if you watch this drama, don't make any assumptions or try to predict how things will go because it had an insane amount of twists and turns.

2) This drama was ridiculous hilarious! I laughed out loud so many damn times that my sister came to my room and was like "Are you laughing about the same thing you were laughing at 2 hours ago?" and I was like, "yeah! ahahahahahaha". I mean, who knew corporate Game of Thrones could be so entertaining

3) It was sooo hard to not like Mo Ga Bi when she turned all evil cuz that woman is gorgeous and her clothes were magnificent!! In some scenes I forgot to hate her cuz I like

Everything from head to toe looked flawless and I kept on wondering where I could find similar clothes for half the price.

 4) Cha Woo Hee has a serious drinking problem. This chick got drunk at least once every 2 episodes. I felt like she needed to start going for some AA meeting or something because her drinking was beyond excessive. Other than that, I enjoyed her character for the most part. Until she started a relationship with Hang Woo. I didn't like that her loyalty to Yoo Bang started to falter. Bros Before Hoes, Woo Hee! Bros Before Hoes!!

5) Jung Ryeo Won was phenomenal as Yeo Chi!! I didn't think I would like this character but she was one of my favorite characters (Yoo Bang being the first, of course. But we'll get to him later). She was feisty, crazy and cursed like a sailor. basically the recipe for the most perfect Kdrama girl lol. I didn't even know she could pull off a role like this after playing Hee Jin  in My lovely Sam Soon. But she she totally proved me wrong and now I just want to watch everything else she's been in. And her hair!! I've wanted red hair since 2012 so you can only imagine how much I was salivating over her hair in every scene.

6) And finally, Yoo Bang (which means "breasts" in Korean LOL). I don't think any Kdrama guy/man can ever top Yoo Bang when It comes to awesomeness. Yoo Bang was just... where do I even begin?? First of all, he was so freaking hilarious! He had me dying even during "serious" scenes. He's that type of character that you underestimate in the beginning so when he does something really awesome you're just like "THIS.MAN.IS.BRILLIANT!!". Yoo Bang was EVERYTHING! I've run out of adjectives to describe him so just watch the drama and come up with some more for me.

You Who Came From The Stars Review

This is only my second time watching a drama while its airing and I can definitely say it has a different feeling. Just waiting every week for new episodes and looking forward to what happens next, it really just adds to the pain of the drama withdrawal.
I think the ending was great. it wasn't too 'happily-ever- after" corny or too "heartbreakingly" sad. It was practical and perfectly bitter-sweet.
This drama made me fall for Kim Soo hyun. Like seriously. can we do a comparison between Do Min Joon and Sam Dong?

I remember when I first watched Dream High and I was like "this kid isn't cute at all" then I watched The Moon That Embraces the Sun and I was like " Aigooo he is so friggin ADORABLE" and then now i'm just like "WHY IS HE SO HOT?! I NEED HIM TO FATHER MY CHILDREN LIKE NOW". What can I say? people change ("people" is me lol).

I'm in this weird space where I want to go on and on bout how I loved this drama but  at the same time I don't want to talk too much because I don't want to spoil it for anybody. But I do have some points.

1) I love how self aware the writers were. They knew the concept was a bit out of this world so they didn't take themselves too seriously. I loved all the ET references and those scenes where a character expects Do Min Joon to be able to read minds or whatever and he just gives them that look like "Don't believe everything you see in the movies, Buddy". Those scenes were priceless.

2) Kim Soo Hyun kissing game is on point! I think he might be Lee Min Ho's rival in the Kiss Scene Olympics right now. Just had to let that out.

3) Jun Ji Hyun really makes this character. There's just something about the way she acts ( I initially felt it when I watched The Thieves). I believe I would've liked Song Yi just based on a character description alone but I think Jun Ji Hyun reeeally brought this character to life and made her relatable and endearing. She's just awesome. I can't even describe it. But I also have to give credit to the writers. Song Yi was written brilliantly and I started rooting for her the minute she said

4) Kim Soo Hyun can act his ass off! Those crying scenes really got me. I've always believed he's super talented but he really brought it in this drama! He was simply amazing. I started to see him as a 400 year old alien for real lol. All the awards should be on his shelf right now.

5) Can we just discuss the fact that Ahn Jae Hyun AKA Yoon Jae  is 26 in real life!? This dude got Pharrell Syndrome. For the first couple of episodes I called him "Mini-Kim Woo Bin" cuz he is kinda Kim Woo Bin-esque but then I Googled him and I realized HE'S OLDER THAN KIM WOO BIN. HE'S OLDER THAN KIM SOO HYUN TOO. It's funny cuz his character calls Do Min Joon "Hyung" but I bet Kim Soo Hyun calls Ahn Jae Hyun "Hyung" on set. I felt so lied to when I found out lol. I thought he was like 18 or 19 and I'm usually good at guessing people's ages. Plus, he's been in two music videos that I know of and I didn't even realize it was him (In my defense, Seo In Guk was kinda distracting in Please Don't).

Oppa I'm not distracted anymore!!

6) Lastly, Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun have awesome chemistry together. They were matched perfectly and the age difference really was a non factor. They acted really well as a team and I guess it doesn't hurt that they are both totally gorgeous

I just had to add this Wedding photo edit cuz its so beautiful and I couldn't scroll past it (shout out to whoever made this! I wish I had your talent.)

The Most Attractive Korean Actresses and Singers Part 1

This is all based on my opinion(AND IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER!). My idea of beautiful may not be the next person's idea of beauty and that's fine. I actually think that's a good thing. I like that beauty means different things to different people.
I have to admit, Some of these women make me feel like i'm not 100% straight. I'm not even ashamed. I'm pretty sure every girl has at least one person that makes them feel that way. Well, I have several so here they are.

1) Yoon Eun Hye

2)  Kahi

3) Yoon Bora

4) Jun Ji Hyun

5) Hyuna

6) Nam Jihyun

7) Han Chae Ah

8) Moon Geun Young

9) kim Sun Ah

10) Park Shin Hye

This is just the beginning! I will post Part 2 sometimes next week!

Valentine's Day

Now that it has passed I feel like I can finally write about it. I experienced some mild mood swings during valentine's day.

I basically went from:

                   To

Over and over again.

I think there are a number of things that influenced my feeling during Valentine's Day
1) They were this Candy/Roses thing they were doing this week in school and basically people pay $3.50 to send a flower and some chocolates to their crush/boo thang/ friend/or whatever on Valentine's Day. Members of the student council went around the school delivering them and when they got to my class during first period... I was kinda secretly hoping someone had bought one for me (Lame, I know)

2) The annoying ass couples wearing matching clothes and walking around the hallways hand in hand. I mean, some were kind of cute but still.

3) this time last year I told myself  something along the lines of "don't worry, you'll be in a new school this time next year and there will lots of cute boys and lots of options too". Fast forward and look where I am now. Yes there are options here ( this school is more diverse than my old school) but if I had to choose, I would probably circle none of the above. Nobody has really caught my attention and tbh none of them are really  attractive (i'm talking about looks AND personality).

4) There is this tall and kind of good looking Korean guy and he moved here sometime in 2012 (found this out from my "friends"). But the thing is.. he's always alone and I think he's alone by choice. I have seen people talking to him during lunchtime but ultimately I never see him with them. So I don't want to go up to him and try and be friendly if he's not interested in making friends. I don't want to bother him or be a pest so I think it's just best that I mind my business.

5) I think I'm just really lonely. I don't have many friends and the friends I do have are irritating 70% of the time. So I guess it makes sense for me to want to find someone who makes me feel really happy and content. I JUST WANT A PARTNER IN CRIME.

6)  I've watched too many Kdramas and romantic tv shows in general. Somehow I've  allowed  them to convince me that If just be myself, some rich, sexy chaebol will fall in love with me. I don't actually believe stuff  like that happens in real life but  they have somehow wormed their way into my subconscious. And now I can't help but be a hopeless romantic.

It's really annoying actually. I just want to be a cynic sometimes.

6b) Example 1 : Olitz.

This couple literally messes with my emotions like crazy. They are the reason for my downfall. they made me soft. I don't want to believe in true love anymore! Make it stop!

But on a serious note though, I'm obsessed with this show.

Example : 2 Coffee Prince

Coffee Prince was my first Kdrama; I watched it when I was really young and it basically made me fall in love with love. I had the worst case of Kdrama withdrawal after I finished watching it because I just couldn't get over how amazing it was. Its still my favorite Drama because it was the first time I had ever been exposed to such a convincing love story. Coffee Prince definitely affected me. I was a girly girl but after I finished it, I was like "Should I become a tomboy?" lol that didn't happened though.

7) Lastly, I just want to end by saying, with or without a man I'm still a pretty cool person I think. I'm awkward and I don't quite fit into one box but i'm here. I'm still me. I'm still Beyonce. So i'm gonna sit steady and wait patiently for the right one. And in the mean time I'll continue to be me and continue to be awesome.
