Pasta: Review

Sooo I finally finished Pasta after a very long time (school,exams, moving e.t.c got in the way). I liked it but I'll be lying if I said I loved it.  I think the ending was cute (don't worry I'm not going to spoil it for anyone) and I'm kinda glad I didn't drop it because there were several times where I asked myself "Is this drama really worth it?" I think there were several things that kind of annoyed me about the drama but I decided not to drop it because 1) I was already 15 episode in 2) It still had some redeemable qualities 3) I'M NOT A DRAMA QUITER!
so In the end I didn't drop it and boy, am I glad. I think the last 3/4 episodes are really the reason why i'm glad I didn't drop it. Everything kind of came together nicely.
Also, Lee Sun Gyun was part of the reason why I kept watching.  I loved him in coffee prince and I was glad to see him in something else. there's something about him that I like and I think he really made the character very human, likeable and attractive.
As for the main character, (Gong Ji Hyo, she was in Greatest Love) I liked her most times but sometimes I found her wimpy. but glad she was capable of making her own decisions and  she was super determined and that made me respect her as a character.
drama rating: 7/10.
P.S No Min Woo can cook my pasta anytime. any day. whenever. wherever.

My A Gentleman's Dignity Review

Hey Guys!

K so,  I FINAAAALLY finished A Gentleman's Dignity after like, 2 months (It usually takes me like 2 weeks to finish a drama)
My  Rating: 6.5/ 10

What I Liked :
1)  The friendship dynamics
2) Min Sook
3) Jung Rok's over-confidence and hilarity
4) Im Meh Ah Ri clothes were sooooo enviable!! I wanted to steal everything she wore.
5) The development in SOME characters
6) The ending was pretty good
7) The shoes thing that the Do Jin/ Yi Soo couple had  (If or when you watch it, you'll get what I mean)
8) The caring/tough love  relationship Yi Soo had with her students
9) Jonghyun from CN Blue :)
10)  The funny scenes

What I Didn't Like :
1) The Yoon/MehAhRi Relationship. I thought they were cute together but MehAhRi was so immature. I liked her character in the first few episodes and I hoped she would learn to be an adult and  control herself sometimes. BUT  her obsession with Yoon was super annoying.( I mean, she was supposed to be 24! How does a 24 year old act like that!? ) She had absolutely NO SELF RESPECT. And it seemed like her insecurities did not allow her to even consider the fact that she might deserve a man who won't  reject her a billion times before accepting his feelings for her. I understand why Yoon didn't want to accept his feeling but at the same time I wanted to slap him and Yell "Yoon you need to allow yourself to be happy and stop worrying about everyone else!"

2) For some reason I kind of found it hard to emotionally  connect to the main character (Yi Soo). Usually when i'm watching a drama its easy for me to fall in love with the main character but this time I really had to force myself to like Yi Soo. I mean, I felt bad for her in some parts but not really at the same time.

I can't really say more without spoiling it but I will say that I loved the friendship between the four men. I also loved seeing how they met and stuff. And you know they will always have each other's backs like when Yoon's wife died. that scene was super heart breaking. I think the friendship was what made the show so appealing and lovable to everyone.

 I actually really want a friendship like that but unfortunately I don't  really have the same friends for long periods  of time because I  move around a lot and its hard to stay in touch with people. Because people move on, make new friends, and forget about you. And suddenly they're strangers and suddenly your whole friendship seemed so ... forgotten, unimportant, irrelevant.  And you can never get that friendship back.

I''ll always manage to be happy and laugh about random stuff and entertain myself though. So I always know I will be fine in the end.
