Yoon Mi-rae is a South Korean hip hop and R&B singer and
rapper. She is part of the well-respected Korean hip hop crew The Movement, and
belongs to the label Jungle Entertainment. She is married to Tiger JK, and has

Tasha was born in Texas to a Korean mother and an African American father. She often faced discrimination because of her mixed heritage. Her father, Thomas J. Reid, was a DJ when she was young, so she naturally became acquainted with music.

In 1995, she started to organize members for the group that
would become known as Uptown. They debuted in South Korea in early 1997, when
She was just 17.
In 2001, she took on another challenge by changing her name
to "T" and making her debut as a solo singer. The song "Time
Goes By" was released and T’s solo debut was a success.
She is still considered to be one of the best female rappers
in Korea.
This song make me want to dance/Feel empowered every time.

I love the sampling in this song :D
Part 3 is the third and final part of Black History Month : Korean Music Edition. Can you guess who the third person is?
You have mad respect from me that you posted about Yoon MI Rae in your Black History month post! So many people might not have thought she was or could be recognized and given spot light within Black History month even though she is mixed and on top of that a Korean rapper. How thoughtful and beautiful your post is just to recognize her! I enjoyed it!
